Chiss Ascendancy

The Chiss Oligarks have deeply offended the New Order by their own "clever" devices, sending bugs aboard the Harbringer with their more friendly compatriots. They have been told to keep to their own space, something they may or may not do as they have the technology now to make use of a "stutter-drive" which can basicaly make short tactical jumps every 90 seconds, or a long logistical jump every 24 hours.

This technology works with wormholes instead of Hyperdrive and transport is instantaneous.

A jump can be performed with greater precision than a hyperspace jump and deliver per example torpedo-boats within striking distance and then leaping back out again once the firing run is done.
