Klaus is a bitter bitter man these days, he has lost everything and everyone he has ever cared for by dealing with queen mab to keep things "as they are right now in this moment". German archeologists under the brilliant Dr Alexander Kiegle managed to breech the limit to the spell by employing modern tools and extracted the frozen magus who to their immense horror and surprise re-animated within hours. Unlike his proteges Klaus is excempt from Mab's spell draining them.
