Dona Allejandra

Growing up with her grandmother, on the outskirts of Baron Alehandos estate (MODERN DAY Orreaga/Roncesvalles). She was born in 1742. Her mother died of childbed fever and her father left her in his mothers care. Whereabouts unknown.

The grandmother, Sofia, had a on-and-off feud with another local wise woman, Marta, for several years. They were best friends when they were children, but as they grew into young women they fell in love with the same man. He flirted with both and, unbeknownst to them, a third woman that he ended up running away with. Sofia and Marta blamed each other and thus the 50 year old feud started.

Growing up very rural, Alejandra spent most of her days outside in the forest, with animals and in nature. Sofia taught her the ways of medicinal herbs, how to care for nature and the animals, and how to survive on the "larder from the forest".
