It is time to clean out MacAllister's folly. Retrieve materials for the laboratories and the libraries, and finaly getting rid of the damn vampire in the basement...
The good news is that Vlad Tepes himself was banished (for good??) in the late 1800s, the bad news is that some of his progeny remain left behind and are unwilling to leave their heritage behind.
The Estates
The estates are huge with nearly 20 acres of overgrown wooded landscape, and a small lake that was once a welltended pond. Now it is filled with mutated fish and frogs and literal pond scum floating on the surface. The lake also conceals a nice underwater tunnel that is only really useful for someone who can either entirely eschew breathing or wears scuba gear of some sort or other.
In fact the tunnel leads down to the restingplace of one of the brides. The youngest and weakest of the vampires that Vlad Dracul created. Her role normally is that of a intelligence officer, she would research a target and come up with a plan for either corruption or how to hunt them.
Her Abode is stark, bare of anything but the remains of what was once a wizard's lab. The desks and the apparatus have been crudely set aside in a big heap since they are problematic to get out through the tunnel.
The guardhouse is the second major obstacle, the middle bride resides here, the red twins were created my magic similar to hers. She will use necromantic abilities to turn spirits and the dead against the players to her best abilities. The good news is that she has scrounged up a nice little +5 laboratory setup going through the areas of the castle that she can in fact reach.
Between the guardhouse and the motte there is the old and overgrown gardens, they are mostly rosebushes and thorny wines. The cats will move easily here and will have a nice little advantage as most beings with size over -3 will have a minus for their size to move around including melee attack rolls. The cats suffer no such limitation and if their mistress hasn't been killed this is where they will strike. Note that Zarah's priority will be to try and warn Erzsebet so she is unlikely to fight to death. Anyone with a skin-soak of 10+ can move through the wines with impunity.
The final bride is lady Erzsebet Báthory herself, the queen of blood. She will be using advanced blood magic for defence and attack as well as being the most physically hardy of the thralls. She will try to bargain her knowledge of hidden passages and halls for her survival if things goes badly for her.
