Ewan is the oldest surviving son of a bloodline of Custos stemming back to old Durenmar.
He is as he calls himself an artificer as he doesn't have enough hermetic magic or training to call himself a Verditius. Unable to cast spells or spontaneous magic he can however create magical items at a wastly increased rate using modern tools.
He is a machinist well aquinted with the lathe, the mill and the soldering-iron. His created tools are crude for now but as he gets better with electronics his aptitude will increase. Labtotals for creating items is Magic Theory + Technique + Form + Int + Engineering. He spends weeks instead of seasons for creating his items.
